Marguerite Miller read our weekly scripture, to be delivered remotely via zoom. We are all blessed with this technology, but hope by next year things will be different.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. We hope your scale down celebrations have been joyous. We hope by next season we can join with more family and friends in our traditional Thanksgiving celebrations.

Our bell ringing at Tops grocery store the day before Thanksgiving for Yates County Christmas.
What a wonderful tradition this has been for a Church to participate in this wonderful mission. Thanks to all who helped.

This year we will again be doing a reverse Advent collection to benefit our community.  Instead of receiving during advent, we will be giving items back to others on a daily basis during advent. Pastor Sandi is also planning a Christmas card and note drop off for church members to show our caring and love for those in our congregation. More information will be forthcoming.

Our scripture lesson this week was from Matthew 25:1-verses 31 through 40, The Judgement of Nations.  Pastor Sandi’s message was about love and gratitude. Do we give food, water, grace, and visits to others.  Jesus asked his disciples to remember others.  How do we look at our day?   Do we see our sins? Do we ignore others or help by our presence, and gratitude. Pastor Sandi asked us to do an end of day review to glorify Jesus for the next day. We need to repent at the end of the day and asked for forgiveness of our sins.

Our service ended with the hymn Amazing Grace. The message is to sing God’s praise and that Grace will lead us home.

Thanksgiving graces!

Remember, Zoom church is every Sunday at 9am. Services also in our church the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, by request, following Covid protocols.
