We would like to thank the musical group, Wilted Lilies. They
provided us with a wonderfully upbeat and musical Sunday service on July

Our thanks to Kent Wilmott for graciously hosting our annual picnic
this year at his home on Waneta Lake. Our theme for this year’s picnic was
“A Hawaiian Luau”, and it surely was!!

We thank all who helped with the luncheon we served to visitors from
the historical tour on Saturday, August 11th, from 11:00 to 1:00, and to those
who made and/or donated crafts for our craft sale.

Ladies gather for lunch at the Antique Inn at 12:00 Noon on

Bible Study groups, and Thursday Night Supper at the Antique Inn
(FULL) have ended for the summer, and will resume in September. Our
choir is taking a well-deserved break for this month of August.

Participants at our August 19th, worship are: Liturgist - Gene James;
Greeters - Audrey Wolcott and Waneta Nielsen; Ushers - Pam Althouse and
Barbara Bailey; Scripture Reader - Helen Schillinger; Sunday School -
Sarah Stackhouse; Counters - Marilyn James and TBD; Nursery - Leah
Dibble and Laurie Prinzivalli. Pastor Judy White’s sermon for this Sunday
is titled “A Hard Pill to Swallow”.

Our thanks to Amos & Laura Hammond for their gift of fellowship
after our worship service this morning.

Happy Birthday to Waneta Nielsen (16), John Kohn (17), Anne
Hassoldt Fenoff (18), Ruth Andersen (21), and Austin Hunt (21).

Happy Anniversary to Phil & Kathy Burdick (15) and Adam & Nikki
Folts (20).

Congratulations to Ernie Pinneo on the birth of another great-
grandchild. Jozlyn Rae Collins was born on August 1st, giving her the
distinction of being great-grandchild # 25!!! She is the daughter of Heather
and Matt Collins, and the granddaughter of Sally Pinneo Sutton.
