Bluff Point UMC article for 8/22/12

We need to extend a special thank you to John Prinzivalli for
preparing the pulled pork barbeque for our Hawaii luau at Kent Wilmot’s a
couple of weeks ago.

Special thanks to Meredith Nielsen, Mike Morehouse, and Ernie
Pinneo who spent much time on Saturday, August 11th, chatting with visitors
from the historical tour and “living the history” of this little church in the
valley. We also need to thank the ladies at Bluff who served luncheon to
visitors from the historical tour on Saturday, August 11th, from 11:00 to
1:00. They include Laurie Prinzivalli, Jane Salyer, Sarah Stackhouse,
Michele Covert, and Sherri Hunt. Not to be left out is Joyce Wiedrich who
headed up a special “God’s Dollars” craft sale, and to all those who made
and/or donated crafts for this sale. Both the lunch and the craft sale were
very successful, and it was decided by the two groups to put all profits into
the building fund.

Check out the plans for our addition! Go to our website, and click on “Addition”. We are told that work
will be starting very soon…

Please keep students - preschool, elementary, high school, college,
and graduate school - who will be returning, or just starting, a brand new
year in school in your thoughts and prayers, as well as their teachers and
professors who are looking forward to a new year of positivities.
