Please remember Food for the Needy on Sunday, specifically cereal,
cans of corn, and cans of peas.

Or, please remember individual granola/breakfast bars, individual
cereals, and family/individual-size Mac & Cheese for Milly’s Pantry
Backpack Program.

Our third Lenten Supper here at Bluff is this evening, March 6th,
from 6:00 - 7:15 PM. The title for tonight’s lesson is “Eating With Jesus”.
FYI, and so that you can signup on the clipboard if you are interested in
attending, here are the titles for the next three suppers/lessons: March 13th
is titled “Watching Jesus’ Miracles”, and the title for our final dinner, held
on “March 20th, is “Suffering with Jesus”. Sign-up is requested, mainly so
we have a head count for dinner preparation, which, by the way, have been
absolutely delicious, thanks to Chris & Stacy Wyant and Barb Bailey, and
John & Laurie Prinzivalli.

FYI for Easter Week: On March 27th, Maundy Thursday, there will be
a Modified Sedar Meal and Drama, beginning at 6:00 PM. On March 29,
Good Friday, the church will be open from 3:00 to 6:00 PM for individual
communion. There will be an Easter Sunday (March 31st) Lakeside Sunrise
Service in front of Dana & Helen Schillinger’s home, and Ruth & Jim
Drumm’s home in Keuka Park. A continental breakfast will follow. The
time for this service has yet to be announced. Easter Sunday worship at
Bluff Point United Methodist Church will be held at 9:00 AM. Coffee and
donuts wil be served downstairs after this service.

The Penn Yan Area Council of Churches has announced its schedule
for this year’s Lenten lunches. Lunches begin at 12:00 noon, and they will
be held at the First Baptist Church The cost is $5.00 per person.
The theme for this year’s lunches is “The Qualities of Christ”. This
year’s speakers will highlight passages in Scripture which illustrate some of
Jesus’s inspiring qualities as His death approached.

The fourth luncheon for this 2013 Lenten Luncheon series will be
held tomorrow, Thursday, March 7th. Rev. Paul Malles will be the honored
speaker. He will discuss “The Last Supper”, Luke 22: 14-27.

The ladies of the UMW meet at the Antique Inn on Tuesdays at 12:00

Bible Study is on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM at the church and/or every
Thursday evening at 7:00 PM, also at the church. Anyone may come;
no previous knowledge of the Bible is required.

Choir is practicing on Wednesday nights during Lent at 7:30, right
after the Lenten Suppers. After Easter, they will go back to rehearsing on
Tuesday evenings.

Participants at our service for March 10th are: Liturgist - Stacy
Wyant; Greeters – Meredith & Don Nielsen; Ushers – Andy & Gail
Kenneda; Scripture Reader – Phil Burdick; Sunday School – Sarah
Stackhouse; Counters – Dick Smith and Fremont Clow; Nursery – Terry
Fingar and Sonya Andersen. The title of Pastor Judy’s sermon for this
morning is “The Great Homecoming”.

Happy Birthday wishes to Madalene Kelley (8), Curt Covert (10),
John Patchen (10), Jessica Kenneda (10), Kenny Parsons (11), and Kenny
Hunt (12).

Don’t forget to set your clocks AHEAD on Saturday evening, March
