Laurie Prinzivalli helps with the annual BPUMC Woman’s nut sale.

Article by Joyce L. Wiedrich

At our recent Christmas Eve service, our special collection was designated for Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes.  We collected over $500.00 for this cause.

Pastor Sandi asked the kids where they saw Jesus at Christmas time. She continued her sermon based on the passages in Hebrew 11: 1-4.  We need to keep faith and hope in the journey and in the future, and don’t have to have immediate answers to everything.  She related two recent encounters with clients she talked with at the Living Well, showing the faith and hope these people had with their situations, and how we are helping as a covenant church for the Living Well.

Dick Smith is in charge of taking orders for submarine sandwiches made by the First Baptist Church in Penn Yan for Super Bowl Sunday on 2/3/19.  Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity.  There is a sign up list at church.

The women of our church are ending their annual nut sales event.  Thanks to all who helped or bought items to support the church projects.
