Our church entryway has a new look, and protection from the weather for the doors and entryway, with a new entrance light, using memorial monies from the Keith Hardy fund. Keith passed several years ago, he and his wife Clarice were long time members and supporters of our church.
Pastor Jeannine gave a message based on Matthew 11: 16-18 and 25-30, with the topic of guilt and grace. While the world embraces guilt, we celebrate grace. How great God is! Salvation happens when our sins are forgiven; we are not perfect but God created us and loves us just the way we are. He will never stop loving us. Pastor Jeannine reflected some episodes where she didn’t like her daughters behaviors but still loves them. Jesus probably still likes us even when we get under his skin. Pastor Jeannine feels that we need to start feeling happy and rejoice, trusting Jesus, and getting into his lane.
Coming up soon is our pass- dish supper on July 22. Our busy nurture committee is planning several upcoming events for the summer season. Sunday, July 30 is music Sunday. This is always a favorite in our church; the service will be based on the sharing of our musical talents. Please also let Ronald Miller know if you wish to participate in singing or showing off another musical talent.
Bring a friend to church! Sunday service rock and are such a good way to start your week with joy! We have paused zoom services for the summer, but our 9 AM services at church are going strong.
