This past Sunday was worldwide communion Sunday. This is a Sunday where all Christians celebrate what Jesus celebrated with the disciples before his crucifixion, the greatest gift. We could never forget Jesus. We are fed, and our thirst is quenched by God. who provides for all of our needs. Pastor Jeannine reminded us that communion provides a meal to share- faith, life, death, and the resurrection of Jesus, where we are with one another in Christ.
The Scripture reading this week was Luke 22:14–20.
Our committees have been meeting in preparation for church charge conference on Wednesday, October 11 at the Penn Yan United Methodist Church at 7 PM. Mark your calendars also for our biannual road cleanup and 54A at 9 AM on October 18. If enough people show up, we usually finish within an hour.
What glorious fall days we have had. The leaves are starting to turn, reminding us of God’s grace for every season.
